Environmental Priorities Coalition: Advocating for Maine’s Environment
March 23 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
It’s not always easy to figure out which of the hundreds of bills working their way through the Maine Legislature have the most potential to protect Maine’s environment, public health, and clean energy future. That’s where Maine’s Environmental Priorities Coalition (EPC) comes in! This partnership of 37 environmental, conservation, and public health organizations has identified legislation that represents the best collective opportunities to protect and increase access to clean water, protect biodiversity and our environment, fund opportunities for climate education, address out-of-state waste, and improve tribal-state relations. Join Kathleen Meil, Director of Policy & Partnerships at Maine Conservation Voters / Maine Conservation Alliance, to learn more about the EPC’s 2022 policy agenda and how you can get involved.
